Mount Diablo State Park in California.

Like to show you some more beautiful landscapes of out hiking expeditions in Danville , California from last spring we had covered many beautiful hiking trails in Danville some tough ones and some easy ones this particular hike we did in Mount Diablo State Park.

We were there just as the spring season had entered so the mountains had already turned green and even though the grass still had that dry yellow look there were a abundance of beautiful flowers springing up all over the hills giving that yellow grass a more colorful character look.

The main hiking trail in Mount Diablo State Park is about 14 miles long it's not a tough hike it even has some wooden paths along the way it's a wonderful trail to give yourself a good workout taking you to a elevation of about 1,200 meters above sea level and you will be rewarded with probably the best all round views of the bay area ones you have reached the top of this trail they say on a real clear day you can see the city and the Golden Gate bridge in the west.

There's quite a few trails, so there's ample opportunities to explore. You could drive all the way up to the top, but then you're missing out on the 'workout' part and seeing and touching nature on the hike up. The road is somewhat windy and narrow if your driving up and you'll meet cyclists biking down at high speeds, so be careful.

Had to believe that this area is close to major urban clog-zones yet this park is a gem. Beautiful, seductive hills, classic California landscape it has many areas for picnicking for the day or camping out for a night or two just make sure you take a telescope to look at the beautiful bright night stars.

This is a peaceful place to get away from the city whether you drive up the mountains , hike it or bike it , for as your winding up the twisty road or paths another awesome view comes in every turn. For anyone wanting to take it all in, this is worth the trip.
