Lake Mead Nevada and Danville Mountains.

As we all known America is a huge country with 50 states and although i spent a few months in America last year , i only got to see a faction of this beautiful country but what , i saw was all very delightful and amazing here i am going to show you a couple of my highlights while traveling through Nevada back to Danville town in California we were never in a rush and tried to see as many places as we could but some how with all the excitement the hours the days were just flying by and we were always trying to make time up but at the end we just decided we are never going to see this beautiful country in a life time so let's just slow down and enjoy the moments we are experiencing.

Mount Charleston in Nevada was one of the small towns in Nevada with only a population of about 400 people that we stopped at along the way , was a most beautiful town surrounded by mountains with Mount Charleston mountain been the highlight peaking as high as 2,289 meters , with many hiking trails and camping grounds you could enjoy it was a very simple enjoyable town. There is always some thing about small towns you always seem to feel so welcome by the people and you never want to leave 😇

Moving further along the highway we came to Lake Mead which is found on the Arizona–Nevada border. Lake Mead waters are part of the Colorado river which flows from the Rocky Mountains coming across from the Colorado Plateau and through the Grand Canyon before reaching Lake Mead. The Colorado River flows for a distance of 1,450 miles (2,330 km) through seven states of America ending up in the Gulf of California in northwestern part of Mexico.

Parking by the lake was just breathtaking with the fresh smell of the lake looking at these panorama views of the mountains and water surrounding us was just the perfect spot to stretch our legs and wind out. The lake's bright blue water was so clean it certainly looked drinkable to me. You could camp around the lake if you wished to do so at a small fee enjoy a bit of fishing light up the camp fire and barbecue your catch of fishes if you were lucky enough to have caught a few and enjoy the night stars around your camp fire.

After our enjoyable sceneries on our drive back to Danville town in California we were now back in town and it was autumn season it had been raining in Danville town for a few days but when the rain had gone it was time for one last hike before heading back to our home country.

After the rain some patches of that dry autumn grass had turned green again the sun was shining out nicely over the mountain hills with a cool breeze in the sky the cows were out enjoying those bits of green grass patches and i was back out hiking the mountains hills i dearly loved.

They say go where you feel most alive and for me from all the places i had visited during my stay in America , it was the Danville hills there was something magical about this place and there was no way of me leaving without seeing a few more mountain hill sunsets and a last hike and this all became possible on my last couple of days spend in Danville town , love you Danville town and will miss you ♥️
