There are a lot of natives, but also a lot of expatriates who have chosen to live in Cotacachi which makes the restaurants and cafes very welcoming and full of flavor.

The nice big streets allow us to see the landscapes which surrounds the city.

The fact that the city is located in a valley and is surrounded by the volcanoes of Imbabura, Cotacachi and Pichincha gives it an undeniable charm and a perfect climate for relaxation.

Even if they are asleep, to be surrounded by so many volcanoes has a magical and disturbing effect at the same time.
