You see, this site is extremely beautiful, it shows you the ruins of a civilization that left its mark, next to a Caribbean sea more beautiful and alive than ever. Tulum, for me is the testimony that civilizations pass and die but nature never dies.

A little bit of History📜

This city in its beginnings was called Zamá which in Mayan means Dawn, however the name Tulúm is given when it was abandoned and means wall, referring to the walls that contain it. Some remains of the buildings date back to the year 564 and most were built between 1200 and 1450 and was populated at least until the sixteenth century when it was abandoned, this tells us Wikipedia.

Among the structures that currently stand out, is: The Castle, which is the largest building, which stands imposing in the center of the city and this itself can be seen from the sea because it fulfilled the function of lighthouse.

I recommend that if you go to this place you wear your bathing suit so you can take one of the most delicious dives in Tulum. Of course we did not miss the opportunity to dive into these magical waters.
