Cebu has a lot to offer when it comes to tourist attractions, from white sand beaches to mountain trekking adventures, almost every corner of Cebu has something to offer when it comes to tourist attractions. And there's is this famous tourist attraction here in Cebu that sits on the top of the mountain, with the structure inspired like Roman architecture and somehow compared by many as Taj Mahal of Cebu, the Temple of Leah.
It is believed that the Temple of Leah was built by a businessman for his undying love of his late wife named Leah. The love story of a couple that has been melting the hearts of so many foreign and local tourists is what pulls guests to visit the Temple of Leah aside from its beautiful structure.
My wife and I have visited the place for the second time already and this time it was together with the family, and still, the place is really mesmerizing because of its ambiance as the Temple of Leah structure is fronting the Cityscapes of the entire Cebu.
And what lies inside the Temple of Leah is of course the nine-foot bronze statue of Leah herself sitting on a bronze-made chair as well. Aside from it, the structure has also chambers on different sides of the temple wherein it was made as an art gallery and library, basically, it's all personal belongings of Leah being displayed and made into a museum.
In the above photo, is the bronze statue of Leah herself that is being placed at the center of the temple, wherein my wife and mom took photographs with it.
My wife got tired of touring the entire temple and sits in the hallway. While I and my uncle also got photos of the bronze statue of Leah from far behind since a lot of local tourists take turns in taking photos near the bronze statue.
Temple of Leah is located exactly in Landon Height in Busay, a mountainous village/barangay of Cebu City, a 45-minute more or less uphill drive from the city proper.
