Heyaaaah Hiveeers !!! Welcome to #LakwatsaniIntoy Diary 005 | Escape in the Beutiful Olango Island, Cebu Philippines🏖🏝. I would like to share to you one of the stunning island that you should write in your bucket list when you visit Cebu, Philippines.
An island located in Lapu-lapu, Cebu. Composed of eight barangays : Baring, Caw-oy, Sabang, Santa Rosa, Talima, Tingo, Tunga-san and San Vicente.
The island offered a different variety of tourist attractions. It is known for wildlife sanctuary like migratory birds and marine sanctuary.
They also have a Mangrove Forest which is located all over coastal areas of the island and a tropical place that gives you a vibe of the summer season.
Last July 24, 2021, we've done a Mangrove Tree Planting in this beautiful island of Olango. Our target is to plant 5000 Mangrove seedlings in the coastal area of barangay Sabang Olango, Cebu. We start it at 8:00am and finished it by only 10:00am.I published it in my previous blog you can click here for more information.
The activity was done in early time and supposedly we will all go back to project site by 12:00 pm to continue our work. But gladly, the Managers and Director of our project site who are with us decided to stay and explore the island. (where my colleagues and I am looking forward about it 😂😁😎).
Our Exploration started here under the coconut palm trees. The view was radiant and it gave us Tropical vibe.
This area is just few minutes away from the location of Mangrove Tree Planting. We rested and had our snacks here. The view of the palm tress keeps us relax and regenerate our energy.
After our quick break at this tropical area, we walked around the island. We explored and enjoyed while discovering the beauty of Olango. (this exploration was really an escape🤣)
After a minute of walking we ended up in Blue-Bay-You resort. We stayed here from 10:30am to 3pm.
Look at the view 🤗. I kept on smiling while staring at the crystal clear blue water. Another photographic view that captured my eyes and saved in my mind that I will never forget. This is really a perfect place in Olango Island that will relax you.
HOW TO REACH OLANGO ISLAND
