hello friends of haveyoubeenhere! I hope you are all very well. Today I am going to share with you my most recent visit. The monument to our flag is located on the coast of the Paraná River, in the city of Rosario, province of Santa Fe Argentina. We are staying in a hostel that is only 7 blocks away, so we looked at the map and walked quietly.
hola amigos de haveyoubeenhere! espero que esten todos muy bien. Hoy voy a compartirles con ustedes mi mas reciente visita. El monumento a nuestra bandera, está ubicado en la costa del Rio Paraná, en la ciudad de Rosario, provincia de Santa Fe Argentina. Estamos hospedandonos en un Hostel que queda a tan solo 7 cuadras, asi que miramos el mapa y fuimos caminando tranquilamente.
General Manuel Belgrano created the flag in 1812 and that is why on June 20, 1957 this monument was inaugurated in honor of him.
El General Manuel Belgrano creó la bandera en 1812 y por eso el 20 de junio de 1957 se inauguró este monumento en su honor.
the monument is in a park, so you can sit on the grass or on the marble stairs to eat and have a drink if you wish, it is all very clean so consider taking your garbage with you when you leave!
el monumento está en un parque, así que puedes sentarte en el pasto o en las escaleras de mármol a comer y tomar algo si lo deseas, todo está muy limpio, así que considera llevar tu basura contigo cuando te vayas.
Throughout the place you will find phrases by Manuel Belgrano that are immortalized in marble. And many informative plaques for you to learn about our flag and its history. There are also other sculptures in honor of the fallen soldiers in the War of San Lorenzo
en todo el lugar encontrarás frases de Manuel Belgrano que están inmortalizadas en mármol. Y muchas placas informativas para que conozcas sobre nuestra bandera y su historia. Además hay otras esculturas en honor a los soldados caídos en la Guerra de San Lorenzo
It is a really beautiful place, I can say that it made me excited and I am not the most patriotic person there is. But it is so big that you feel super tiny in it and there are Argentine flags flying everywhere so the atmosphere fills you with pride.
Es un lugar realmente hermoso, puedo decir que me hizo emocionar y no soy yo la persona mas patriota que existe. Pero es tan grande que te sientes super diminuta en él y hay banderas Argentinas flameando por todos lados asi que el ambiente te llena de orgullo
