As you have been able to appreciate in the previously uploaded photographs, the beaches and landscape of that locality are quite provocative, although due to the pandemic situation they are not very crowded.
The shores of the beaches are full of trees, but there is one in particular very sought after by all because of the fruit that offers and for being emblematic of Venezuela (Natural Symbol of the state of La Guaira), known as "The beach grape", perhaps in your country you know it by another name but its flavor and shape is the same (grams of 2 cm in diameter, purple, born in clusters, fleshy, juicy, and sweet, possessing a large seed).
We can also find a small port, and the beach is called "Playa Margarita" here the local fishermen shelter and repair their boats, fishing in an activity of great demand in this town and the vast majority, including me we have it as a great pasantiendo that also provides us with a delicious food such as marine species.
Personally, I don't have a boat, but with my brothers and a friend we fish in the jetties with a nylon, lead, hook and reel, it is a very entertaining and pleasant activity.
Me complace enseñarles la pesca de hoy. - I am pleased to show you today's catch.
Pámpano - Pampano
Chipirones - Squid
Jaibas - Jaibas
We wash everything, cut the vegetables (yucca, ocumo, yam and green plantain), chop the seasonings (cilantro, paprika, onion, chives and sweet bell pepper).
Place a pot or cauldron on the stove, add water and proceed to integrate all the ingredients.
And so we obtained this delicious and succulent fish, squid and crab boil.
