Hi everyone! After a very busy week, the truth is that we wanted to make a family plan for Sunday and a good option is to go to the town of Peribeca, located in the state of Tachira, near San Cristóbal, and this time my family and I decided to go with our very friends and neighbors.
Este pueblito es genial para compartir un fin de semana en familia, como les dije anteriormente, nosotras fuimos el domingo y la verdad es que había mucha gente allí y eso que fuimos a eso de las 5 pm, pero nos divertimos muchísimo y esperamos que se repita pronto para hacer más planes allí, pues por lo tarde que fuimos algunas cosas no pudimos hacerlas.
This little town is great to share a weekend with the family, as I told you before, we went on Sunday and the truth is that there were a lot of people there and we went at about 5 pm, but we had a lot of fun and we hope that they will repeat soon to make more plans there, because as late as we were some things we could not do them.
Como vieron fuimos en familia, pues somos muy unidos con los vecinos y con sus hijos, al llegar allí lo primero que hacemos es buscar donde estacionar para luego ir a caminar por las calles de este hermoso pueblo, entonces una vez estacionamos fuimos a buscar el primer plan para hacer, y como ven hay inflables para los niños, pero nosotros decidimos ir a montar caballo.
As you saw we went as a family, because we are very close with the neighbors and with their children, when we get there the first thing we do is find where to park and then go for a walk through the streets of this beautiful town, so once we parked we went to look for the First plan to do, and as you can see there are inflatables for the children, but we decided to go horseback riding.
La verdad esto fue muy divertido, 5000 pesos colombianos (1,4 $ aproximadamente) por 5 vueltas es la tarifa para hacer este plan, pero no todos decidimos montarnos, solo algunos y los demás nos quedamos viendo y disfrutando del paisaje, como pueden ver la niña estaba muy feliz y así como ella habían más niños disfrutando de montar a caballo.
The truth is, this was a lot of fun, 5000 Colombian pesos (approximately $ 1.4) for 5 laps is the fee to do this plan, but not all of us decided to ride, only some and the rest of us stayed watching and enjoying the landscape, as you can see the girl was very happy and just like her there were more children enjoying horseback riding.
Los demás teníamos planes de ir a montar en cuatrimotos que también las alquilan pero como ya era muy tarde no logramos hacerlo porque la policía ya había mandado a parar el servicio, entonces quedamos un poco aburridos, aún así preguntamos el precio y es 8000 pesos colombianos (2,15 $ aproximadamente) por un par de vueltas que no recuerdo ahora.
The rest of us had plans to go riding on ATVs that also rent them but as it was already too late we couldn't do it because the police had already ordered the service to stop, so we were a bit bored, we still asked the price and it is 8000 Colombian pesos (About $ 2.15) for a couple of laps that I can't remember right now.
Entonces decidimos seguir nuestro camino, y nos fuimos a caminar por la Plaza Bolívar, donde está la hermosa iglesia de la Virgen del Carmen, la cual estaba cerrada pero tiene una fachada hermosa para hacerse unas fotos lindas con tu familia, aunque nos hubiese gustado poder asistir a la misa.
So we decided to continue on our way, and we went to walk through the Plaza Bolívar, where the beautiful church of the Virgen del Carmen is located, which was closed but has a beautiful facade to take some beautiful photos with your family, although we would have liked to be able to attend mass.

El clima en Peribeca es espectacular, y luego de hacernos un par de fotos allí fuera de la iglesia, decidimos caminar más para buscar algo para comer, porque otra de las cosas por las que la gente disfruta de ir al pueblo es la gastronomía y las deliciosas cosas que venden allí, así que entre tantas cosas decidimos probar varias y más abajo se las muestro.
The weather in Peribeca is spectacular, and after taking a couple of photos there outside the church, we decided to walk more to find something to eat, because another of the things that people enjoy going to town for is the gastronomy and the delicious things that they sell there, so among so many things we decided to try several and I will show you below.
Ah pero antes de encontrar lo que queríamos probar, vimos esta moto espectacular en la plaza, no sabíamos quien era el dueño pero se ve muy divertida y nos provocaba montarnos para hacernos unas fotos geniales allí, aún así solo le hicimos fotos a la moto y seguimos nuestro camino.
Ah but before we found what we wanted to try, we saw this spectacular motorcycle in the square, we did not know who the owner was but it looks very funny and it caused us to ride to take some great photos there, even so we only took photos of the motorcycle and we go on our way.
Hay muchas opciones para comer, y una de las cosas deliciosas que venden allí son las fresas con crema, los niños querían probar esta, y bueno nosotros también, así que decidimos comprar algunos vasitos para probarlas y la verdad es que estaban muy deliciosas, se las recomiendo, luego seguimos nuestro camino para probar unas deliciosas mazorcas que les provocaba a los más grandes.
There are many options to eat, and one of the delicious things that they sell there are strawberries with cream, the children wanted to try this, and well we did too, so we decided to buy some glasses to try them and the truth is that they were very delicious. I recommend them, then we went on our way to try some delicious corncobs that the older ones were provoking.
Y me parecía muy divertido, ver al señor con el secador soplando las mazorcas, a 2000 pesos colombianos (0,55 $ aproximadamente) estas también se las recomiendo, la verdad es que todo lo que probamos estaba delicioso, y es que todo lo que venden allí es exquisito y les va a encantar.
And it seemed very funny to me, to see the man with the dryer blowing the ears, at 2000 Colombian pesos (approximately $ 0.55) I also recommend them, the truth is that everything we tried was delicious, and everything that They sell there it is exquisite and they are going to love it.
Y muy cerca de las mazorcas, encontramos un sitio genial donde venden muchos dulces y esto era lo que nos provocaba a los adolescentes, tortas, dulces, ponche de crema, entre otras cosas vendía este agradable señor que nos atendió de maravilla, y que prepara todo esto junto a su esposa, nosotros decidimos probar la torta tres leches y la verdad es que nos encantó.
And very close to the corncobs, we found a great place where they sell many sweets and this was what provoked us as teenagers, cakes, sweets, cream punch, among other things this nice man sold us who took great care of us, and who prepares All this together with his wife, we decided to try the tres leches cake and the truth is that we loved it.
Además habían unas mesitas para disfrutar cómodamente de lo que comías , ah y se me olvidaba contar que decidimos también probar el ponche de crema y estaba delicioso también aunque un poco fuerte para mi gusto jajaja, y como ya se oscurecía decidimos seguir recorriendo un poco más para ir a casa, o bueno a cenar y luego a casa.
There were also some tables to comfortably enjoy what you ate, oh and I forgot to tell you that we also decided to try the cream punch and it was delicious too although a little strong for my taste hahaha, and as it was getting dark we decided to continue traveling a little more to go home, or well to dinner and then home.
Excelente plan para disfrutar en familia un fin de semana, venden muchas cosas, además de artesanías, pero como los niños ya estaban un poco cansados de caminar por ahí, pues decidimos irnos, aunque realmente el pueblo no es muy grande, creo que más bien ellos ya querían irse a comer pizza en nuestro lugar favorito.
Excellent plan to enjoy a weekend with the family, they sell many things, in addition to handicrafts, but since the children were already a little tired of walking around, we decided to go, although the town is not really very big, I think rather they already wanted to go eat pizza at our favorite place.
