Who loves adventure?
Our Bohol escapade with my friends last November 2021 was one of my most memorable trips of all time. I didn't only witness the picturesque hills and sceneries around the area, but I have also experienced a one-of-a-kind adventure that Bohol has to offer to its tourist.
This happened on the second day of our trip to the place. We visited Danao Adventure Park located in Danao, Bohol, Philippines. Honestly speaking, I never expected that would go to the adventure park since we have agreed that we will just go to the beach instead. But since the driver of the van we rented said that it was very much fine to take us to the adventure park, then we got so happy and excited.
When we reached the area, fresh air suddenly welcomed us, giving us peace of mind. There were a lot of lush green trees around the area which was great.
After we wrote in the logbook, we started walking towards the hill for about 5 minutes since the ticket booth and the adventures take place there. We enjoyed our walk as well a lot since we inhale fresh air. As we reached the ticket booth. We bought tickets to try the rides and adventure.
Here are the adventures we tried:
1. Skyride
The first one we tried was the Skyride. It's my first time trying out a Skyride, so there's a feeling of excitement and doubt knowing that once it starts moving, there's no turning back. The ride is so high as well that I had a lot of what-ifs in my mind. But after the ride started, I end up loving it and it was not scary at all.
I also find the view astonishing. I was captivated by the beauty that the nature around Bohol possesses.
My heart was so full of amusement after witnessing such a view.
2. Glass Cliffwalk
Next on the line was the Glass Cliffwalk. It's not that scary since you will simply walk on a glass on the cliff. However, if you have fear of heights, then it will make your heart race a lot.
For this activity, we were asked to wear PPE because it's a protocol from the municipality to wear PPE for this kind of activity in the area, due to COVID.
After setting up, we started our walk. It only took us like 5 minutes to stay around the glass cliff and we're done. I also asked my friend to take photos of me. Looking at the photos, it seems like I have climbed a mountain.
Even though we were only a short period around the glass cliff, I still love it as the view was so calming.
3. Big Swing
The next one that we tried was the Big Swing. We're supposed to try The Plunge, but since it's still under maintenance at that time, then we had no choice but to try The Big Swing. But I end up loving The Big Swing though although it was scary at first.
We also tried the Suislide or the Zipline, but I wasn't able to take photos of it I secured my things that time in preparation for the Zipline. I love it so much.
Danao Adventure Park is a wonderful place to try if you want some adventure. Because of this adventure park, the outgoing part of me awakens.
