The castle museum was built by Nel Rodriguez, it has French style gardens, libraries, exhibition halls, event hall, dining rooms and concert hall.
El castillo-museo fue construido por Nel Rodríguez, cuenta con jardines de estilo francés, bibliotecas, salas de exposiciones, salón de actos, comedores y sala de conciertos.
It belonged to José Tobón Uribe, then passed to Diego Echavarría Misas in 1942, who bought it for his family. In 1971 it became a museum when the wife of Diego Echavarría Misas; Benedikta Zur Nieden, decided to donate the museum with all its decoration and accessories (it is the museum with the largest amount of art in Medellín) after the death of her husband.
Perteneció a José Tobón Uribe, luego pasó a Diego Echavarría Misas en 1942, quien lo compró para su familia. En 1971 se convirtió en museo cuando la esposa de Diego Echavarría Misas; Benedikta Zur Nieden, decidió donar el museo con toda su decoración y accesorios (es el museo con mayor cantidad de arte en Medellín) tras la muerte de su esposo.
They have amazing art, old furnitures,architecture, crockery, paintings, even dolls. Out of the castle u will see a food court in front of one of the most beautiful gardens, where many squirrels and birds live, you will surely hear them!
This place is full of culture, memories and tradition.
Tienen arte increíble, muebles antiguos, arquitectura, vajilla, pinturas, incluso muñecas. Fuera del castillo verás un patio de comidas frente a uno de los jardines más bonitos, donde viven muchas ardillas y pájaros, ¡seguro que los oyes!

In the first photo my mom decided to feed one of them, it was really pretty and nice, the squirrels are friendly and like to see while people eats.
