Branksome Chine Beach, Poole, UK

The warm sunny weather continues as we visit the lovely sandy beach at Branksome Chine Beach at Poole in Dorset, UK.

You can jump on one of the land trains along the seafront that takes you to other beaches. They are a convenient and fun way to explore other places if you don't fancy walking. There's plenty of places to eat as well, along the sea front.

This part of the beach is dog-friendly. As soon as we arrived, the pooch could hardly contain his excitement, running straight into the sea. He's a proper sea dog!

The beach huts in the background can be hired for a nice relaxing day by the beach. The huts have the usual basic amenities such as tables, chairs, and perhaps a small kitchenette.

Limpets and barnacles are two creatures that you often see stuck to the rocks on the beach.

The plane in the distance was dropping parachutists into the sea. I hadn't got my long lens with me, so the plane was a mere dot in the sky.

After a walk along the beach, we called in for a bite to eat before we called it a day. It would be great if the warm weather continued until I return home.
