For today I wanted to vary a little and make a different post after so many recipes in a row that, mind you!!! I love to make and share them, in fact I have many more, but I also missed this community so I come back here after a while with another amazing place.

After traveling almost all of South America, Bariloche is one of the few places I could choose to move to and live. It is the middle ground between a small city and a big city where there are many things to do, lots of gastronomy, breweries, tourism without losing the essence of nature, with places to explore everywhere, with mountains, snow, lake, flora and fauna.
For now I have to be in the big city, meanwhile, I am delighted every time I see the pictures of the places where I have been and I will definitely come back.

| Despues de recorrer casi todo sudamérica, Bariloche es de los pocos lugares que podría elegir para mudarme y vivir. Pues es el término medio entre una ciudad chica y una grande donde hay muchas cosas para hacer, mucha gastronomía, cervecerías, turismo sin perder la esencia de la naturaleza, con rincones para internarse por doquier, con montañas, nieve, lago, flora y fauna. Por ahora me toca estar en la gran ciudad, mientras tanto, me deleito cada vez que veo ls fotos de los lugares donde estuve y que sin dudas volveré. |
The Brazo Tristeza viewpoint is located along the Nahuel Huapi Lake. To reach it is necessary to make a walk of low complexity for about 30 minutes. The trail goes through a forest and goes in slight ascent.

| El Mirador Brazo Tristeza se encuenta bordeando el Lago Nahuel Huapi. Para llegar a él es necesario hacer una caminata de baja complejidad durante unos 30 minutos. El sendero atraviesa un bosque y va en leve ascenso. |
The beginning of the trail is at km 32 of the Circuito Chico and starts at the Bahia Lopez viewpoint, where there is a hotel. When arriving at this entrance it is very common to find these red foxes with their family and although it may sound beautiful, the sad thing about this is that they appear because people from the hotel feed them to attract tourists, thus turning them into domesticated animals exposed to the danger of losing their wild instinct living in the surroundings of these trails.

| El inicio del sendero se encuentra a la altura del km 32 del Circuito Chico e inicia en el mirador de Bahia Lopez, donde hay un hotel. Al llegar a esta entrada es muy común encontrar estos zorros colorados con su familia y aunque pueda sonar hermoso, lo triste de esto es que ellos aparecen porque personas del hotel los alimentan para atraer al Turismo, convirtiendolos de este modo en animales domesticados expuestos al peligro que supone que pierdan su instinto salvaje viviendo en los alrededores de esas rutas. |

Before reaching the top of the viewpoint there is a small climb, the steepest of the trail, but quite accessible if you do not have mobility problems.
The view from the mirdor is breathtaking, the lake entering between the mountains with its snowy peaks, without any trace of human intervention leaves you literally breathless. It is the kind of place that invites you to silence and contemplation. As crowded as it may seem, absolute peace reigns, as if respect for nature unites whoever steps on the place.

| Antes de llegar a la cima del mirador hay una pequeña subida, la más pronunciada del sendero, pero bastante accesible si no tienes problemas de movilidad. La vista desde el mirdor es imponente, el lago adentrándose entre las montañas con sus cimas nevadas, sin rastro alguno de intervención del hombre te deja literalmente sin aliento. Es de ese tipo de lugares que te invitan al silencio y y a la contemplación. Por más concurrido que parezca reina una paz absoluta, como si el respeto por la naturaleza uniera a quien sea que pise el lugar. |
If the view seemed amazing when you arrive at the place, when you return and realize that the thickness of the mountain range was behind you, it is like the crowning of this visit. A place you should definitely visit if you are in Patagonia Argentina.

WHY BRAZO TRISTEZA?
There are several versions that try to explain the hopeless name of such a beautiful place.
One of them supposes that this portion of the lake may have generated a feeling of loneliness to the first settlers who arrived to these lands, since, at that time the water mirror in this porceon would have been more than today surrounded by only mountains and vegetation.
Another version suggests that the sadness could refer to the fact that a route for commercial purposes to cross to Chile could not be found along this branch.
On the other hand there are those who affirm that the reason for the name was a great fire that razed many ancient trees decades ago.

Existen varias versiones que intentan explicar el nombre desesperanzador de un lugar tan hermoso.
Una de ellas supone que esta porción del lago puede haber generado una sensación de soledad a los primeros colonos que llegaron a estas tierras, dado que, en aquel entonces el espejo de agua en esta porceon iestaría más que hoy rodeoado de sólo montañas y vegetación.
Otra versión se inclina a que la tristeza podría referirse a que no pudo encontrarse por este brazo una ruta con fines comerciales para cruzar a Chile.
Por otro lado hay quienes afirman que la razón del nombre fue un gran incendio que arrasó con muchísimos árboles antiguos décadas atras.
