RIVER CASA DE PIEDRA
Winter is approaching in Patagonia and the countdown to enjoy the forest seems to go faster. Rain and wind give short truces to take advantage of the weather.
We moved to Bariloche a little over a month ago, and although we had been here in a previous season there are countless nooks and crannies in the lush forest that we have yet to see.
This weekend we shared it with friends who came to stay at home, and when the rain gave us a break today we decided it was time to take advantage of the outdoors.
To our surprise, our friends took us to a trail that starts a few blocks from the cabin where we are currently living, it begins where it meets a crystal clear stream which it follows to one side, through a forest.

Nos mudamos a Bariloche hace poco más de un mes, y aunque ya habíamos estado aquí en una temporada anterior hay incontables recobecos en el frondoso bosque que aún no conocemos. Este fin de semana lo compartimos con amigos que vinieron a quedarse en casa, y cuando la lluvia nos dió un respiro hoy decidimos que era el momento para aprovechar el aire libre. Para nuestra sorpresa, nuestros amigos nos llevaron a un sendero que inicia a pocas cuadras de la cabaña en la que estamos viviendo actualmente, empieza en donde se encuentra con un arroyo cristalino al cual acompaña a un lado, atravesando un bosque. |

After going up and down a small slope the stream is enclosed in a box where two giant stones rise on each side forming a well of blue and transparent water, the trail continues on a second slope that rises in which, this time, we did not enter, because out of this forest was very windy and we assumed that by continuing to climb the wind would find us, so we still do not reveal if the name of the stream is based on a house that exists somewhere in the mountain, pending target for a future trip.
We decided to set up a picnic on one side of the trail where the rocks form a small spot where we could sit comfortably and enjoy the afternoon.

| ESP | Luego de subir y bajar una pequeña pendiente el arroyo se encierra en un encajonamiento donde dos piedras gigantes se elevan a cada lado formando un pozo de agua azul y transparente, el sendero sigue en una segunda pendiente que se eleva en la que, por esta vez, no nos adentramos, pues fuera de este bosque habia mucho viento y supusimos que al seguir subiendo el viento nos encontraría, así que aún no develamos si el nombre del arroyo está basado en alguna casa que existe en algún lugar de la montaña, objetivo pendiente para un próximo paseo. Decidimos armar picnic a un costado del sendero donde las rocas forman un pequeño spot que permite sentarse cómodos a disfrutar de la tarde. |

The surrounding flora, the shy rays of sunlight that sneak through the micro-spaces left by the trees, the river on one side, the huge trees, the micro-worlds formed by small plants form a dream scenario. It is hard to resist wanting to embrace all that nature, or to feel embraced by it...
