A Volunteer Trip in a remote village

Hi dear Hivers in Worldmappin community, today I would like to tell you about a volunteer I joined recently in a remote village. It's a remote village of Mang But commune, which is about 70km from Mang Den town center. And it's a rainy afternoon over there, however I had so much unforgetable experience over there.

Firstly, even though it's located in a very remote area, the landscape of the place is so beautiful. It's surrounded by mountains, forests and poetic rice fields. The local ethnic minority here makes a living mainly by growing rice and raising cattle. And you will find that the rice fields here are so beautiful in this season.

And on this rainy afternoon, we came to the village to give some clothes and backpacks to the children and old villagers. The wet season is coming, so these gifts are suitable for them. The villagers were eager and happy, so they arrived the venue very early. Despite of heavy rain, the villagers gathered at the community house of the village much earlier before we came.

And when they got the gifts, I can see their happiness on their faces. The children couldn't wait until they got home to unbox the backpacks. And the old people seemed to be very happy to get new warm clothes before the coming winter. You know what, bringing happiness to other people also makes ourselves very happy. So I felt so happy and emotional yesterday.

I'm not sure which community should I post this one in. But I think this village is a great place to pay a visit. You can admire the beauty of the landscape of the village, or learn more about unique culture, life and people of the village, or help the villagers. So I think it's a good idea to make a post in worldmappin community.
