Greetings travelers
Today I want to take you guys on a little tour of Letham Glen in Fife
At this time of year this parkland and wooded glen is bursting with cherry blossoms.
In this video we take a short tour of the area.

The main reason for visiting the glen this week was to try and get some shots of the Cherry Blossoms.
The road leading into the park has a row of beautiful candyfloss pink blossoms lining it...
Among the many pink blossoms there is this one tree that has blood red blossoms.
The area of the park that is now a sunken garden used to be a outdoor pool...
There is a little burn that runs all the way through the glen which has many old stone bridges crossing it.
These bridges offer some nice photo opportunities...
This tree has been turned into a "wishing tree" people place coins into it and make a wish...
Maybe people use the trees to make wishes since the old wishing well has been filled in with concrete?
There is an ornamental pond that also offers some unique photo opportunities...
Back in the 1980s and 90s there used to be a band stand in this area where a guy named Andy Robins would bring his pet grizzly bear Hercules.Andy and Hercules would put on a wrestling show here.
While looking around for archival footage of Andy and Hercules I found this video on facebook that was filmed by the BBC sometime in the 80s.

Some of the trees in his area are so old their roots are exposed from decades of weathering...I think these gnarled roots make for pretty interesting photographs...
Well that concludes our little tour of letham glen ,a great place for a wander that offers a lot of photo opportunities especially at this time of year.My 2 young nephews Jack and George loved there time there too.
