Seville's Spanish Square: Plenty to see and feel

My entry to Qurator´s Photo Quest: Bubbles

Today I found out about a project by which the visit to the wonderful Plaza de España in Seville will cost between 1 or 2 euros in the near future.

This symbolic price will be destined to maintain in good condition this square that presents places as beautiful as charismatic as are the benches in the square dedicated to each of the autonomous communities of Spain.

On my last visit I stopped for a long time in the bench of Oviedo, capital of the community of Asturias, since it is the region where I live and in which to see how through tiles the history of my community is told, as was the beginning of the reconquest by King Don Pelayo of what was called al-Andalus during the period of Muslim Spain.

And at the same time contemplate how they represent must-see places in Asturias, such as its cathedral and the sanctuary of Covadonga, which is the place where the reconquest of what is now Spain began with the battle of Covadonga.

But this square is not only benches, but there is a wonderful pond or canal that gives a very special touch to the square.

Especially because this canal is navigable and to be able to contemplate the square and the historic buildings from these canals is a pleasure.

Whenever I have been to this square I have always seen a lot of life in it and I think that paying 2 euros in the future to enter is a good thing. Who can delight in a flamenco tablao for 2 euros?

I hope those 2 euros don't limit the tips you give them.

I hope that those 2 euros do not limit the tips given to these itinerant artists. I, for one, will continue to contribute to their art. I still remember the constant heel tapping of the baladora, the singer's soulful voice and the guitarist's chords with a song by the legendary Paco de Lucia.

But, there are still more fun things to do in this square, like getting on one of the horse-drawn carriages and ride around the Parque Maria Luisa or investing a little more money to cross the city to the Giralda.

However, today I remember with special affection a person who earns his salary in the square making soap bubbles next to the fountain.

I tell you that I gave him one euro in exchange for allowing me to take a nice photo with a big soap bubble.

I had in mind to share it in #Hive when the bubbles theme came up in a photo contest and as you can see the time has come in the Qurator's Photo Quest.

Best regards.
