Yesterday I found myself remembering and appreciating the importance of beautiful memories and the great experiences that we had in the past, in this case I come to tell you a little about the rancho grande biological station , in this Henri Pittier park in Aragua, Venezuela, my last visit was in 2013, when together with friends from Cine Club Agronomía we organized the visit of the French consul in Venezuela to the Biology station, I apologize, because Carla at that time He was passionate about trying macro photography and missed the wonder of open spaces.
¿Cómo están pasando este maravilloso día mis amigos de hive?, ayer me encontré recordando y valorando la importancia de los recuerdos bonitos y de las grande experiencia que vivimos en el pasado, en este caso vengo a hablarles un poco sobre la estación biológica rancho grande, en este parque Henri Pittier de Aragua, Venezuela, mi ultima visita fue para el año 2013, cuando junto a amigos de Cine Club Agronomía organizamos la visita del cónsul Frances en Venezuela a la estación Biología, me disculpo, porque la Carla de ese entonces, le apasionaba intentar la macrofotografía y se perdía de lo maravilloso de los espacios abiertos.

Esta estación biológica en su idea original se iba a tratar de un gran hotel, al estilo de los hoteles de los Alpes suizos, ordenado por el presidente Juan Vicente Gómez durante su mandato, sin embargo años mas tarde dicho presidente muere y la obra se detiene, hasta el año 1937 que se declara todo el Henri Pittier como área de parque Nacional protegida y se permite que la naturaleza retome cualquier lugar modificado por el hombre, incluyendo también la construcción no terminada del hotel.

Años mas tarde, las instalaciones se convierten en estación biológica a cargo de la Universidad Central de Venezuela, este espacio alberga estudio de animales, plantes e insectos construidos en la investigación de muchas personas en los últimos 40 años.
Actualmente el lugar suele ser visitados por personas en todos los niveles de la educación ya que alberga también un museo.
Another thing that usually attracts visitors to the facilities of the biological station is for bird watchers or wildlife researchers, there are even birds that nest around the park on certain specific dates of the year.
In the place known as humid tropical jungle, you feel a cool and pleasant climate but with a high humidity index, so if you visit it one day, it is best to wear appropriate mountain clothing.

Otra cosa que suele atraer visitantes a las instalaciones de la estación biológica, es para los observadores de aves o investigadores de la fauna silvestre, incluso hay aves que en ciertas fechas especificas del año anidan en los alrededores del parque.
En el lugar que se denomina como Selva tropical húmeda, se siente un clima fresco y agradable pero con un alto índice de humedad, así que si algún dia la visitas, lo mejor es que lleves ropa apropiada la montaña.

In my personal experience we had a tour of the interior facilities of the place, then we saw the museum and some samples of dissected insects, we also went to the tour of the path of the child trees or Gyranthera caribensis, which usually reach up to 60 meters high and they make you feel how awesome nature can be.

En mi experiencia personal tuvimos un recorrido por las instalaciones interiores del lugar, luego vimos el museo y algunas muestras de insectos disecados, también acudimos al recorrido por el sendero de los arboles niño o Gyranthera caribensis, que suelen alcanzar hasta 60 mts de alto y te hacen sentir lo imponente que puede ser la naturaleza.
