How is my beloved Hive community doing today? I hope you have a wonderful day, today I was thinking about how much I miss the Venezuelan beaches in particular those of my beloved state Aragua, the last times I went to the beach in Venezuela I spent a few days in Choroni and today I want to show you a little about it Choroni Boardwalk.
驴C贸mo se encuentra hoy mi querida comunidad de Hive? espero que tengan un d铆a maravilloso, hoy estuve pensando en lo mucho que extra帽o las playas Venezolanas en particular las de mi querido estado Aragua, las ultimas veces que fui a la playa en Venezuela pase unos d铆as en Choroni y hoy quiero mostrarles un poco sobre el Malec贸n de Choroni.
Choroni is located in Venezuela crossing the Henri Pittier National Park, accessing Las Delicias Avenue, thus being a parish of the Aragua state, it was founded in 1622 and if you visit Venezuela it is almost a mandatory stop, its picturesque town and its beautiful beach great makes it an almost magical experience, however today I come to talk specifically about the boardwalk on another occasion we can talk a little more about other important points of the town.
Choroni queda ubicado en Venezuela atravesando el parque nacional Henri Pittier accediendo por la avenida las delicias, siendo as铆 una parroquia del estado Aragua, fue fundada en el a帽o 1622 y si se visita Venezuela es casi una parada obligatoria, su pintoresco pueblo y su hermosa playa grande lo hace una experiencia casi m谩gica, sin embargo hoy vengo a hablarles en especifico del malec贸n en otra oportunidad podemos hablar un poco mas acerca de otros puntos importantes del pueblo.
The locals say that the cannons arrived many centuries ago after a French ship fought against a pirate ship, resulting in both ships sinking, then the sea dragged the debris of both ships to shore including their cannons that were embedded In the wave breaker of the Choroni boardwalk looking towards the Caribbean with the hope of facing pirates again in the future, this area in the past was highly coveted for its cocoa harvest, in addition to being natural ports on the Venezuelan coasts.
Dicen los locales que los ca帽ones llegaron hace muchos siglos luego de que un buque Frances peleara contra un barco pirata, dando como resultado que ambos barcos se hundieran, luego el mar arrastro los desechos de ambos barcos a la orilla entre ellos sus ca帽ones que fueron incrustados en el rompe olas del malec贸n de Choroni viendo hacia el caribe con la esperanza de volver a enfrentarse contra piratas en un futuro, esta zona en el pasado era muy codiciada por su cosecha del cacao, adem谩s de ser puertos naturales de las costas Venezolanas.
Currently the boardwalk is the main pier for the fishing activity of the inhabitants and the boats that allow to mobilize locals and tourists to other places without vehicular access such as Chuao, Tuja, Cepe among others.
Something very impressive that I was once able to witness is that when you want to transport vehicles with buses or larger ones to Chuao, several boats are mounted from the Malec贸n, which travel together to carry the vehicles, it seems like a joke, but it is reality.
Actualmente el malec贸n es el principal embarcadero para la actividad pesquera de los pobladores y las lanchas que permiten movilizar a locales y turistas a otros lugares sin acceso vehicular como Chuao, Tuja, Cepe entre otras.
Algo muy impresionante que una vez pude presenciar es que cuando se quiere transportar veh铆culos con autobuses u otros mas grandes hacia Chuao se montan sobre varias lanchas desde el Malec贸n las que viajan en conjunto para llevar los veh铆culos, parece broma, pero es realidad.
The boardwalk area is a wave breaker with a large pedestrian space with chairs and lots of vegetation such as palm trees, it is very common for people to get together at night to play the drums, or during the day you see fishermen's trade, people rest In the open air and even children playing and running everywhere, the atmosphere makes you feel (even if you are a tourist) as if you were at home.
El 谩rea del malec贸n es un rompe olas con un gran espacio peatonal con sillas y mucha vegetaci贸n como palmeras, es muy com煤n que en las noches las personas se re煤nan a tocar los tambores, o en el d铆a se vea comercio de los pescadores, personas descansar al aire libre e incluso ni帽os jugando y corriendo por doquier, te hace sentir (aunque seas turista) el ambiente como si estuvieras en casa.
