Oslob Whale Watching
Is one of Cebu's most popular tourist destinations. These whale sharks may be seen at Oslob, which is 120 kilometers from Cebu City. You can take a bus to Oslob from the city. The journey takes about 4-5 hours, and the fare may vary depending on the type of bus you take. It is priced between 120 and 190 PHP.
Despite the fact that it was a lengthy journey, the moment I saw the water, it instantly relieved my stress and replaced it with joy. I went there with my pals prior to the pandemic at the time. The cost of whale shark watching was 500 PHP per person, which included diving and underwater photography. But these days, I'm not so sure. It's possible that the charge has gone up.
They strongly advised that you take off your jewelry since it may frighten the whale, and that you wear a life jacket, especially if you don't know how to swim. After donning it, we boarded a small boat and traveled to a location where there are seven whale sharks. I took off my life vest after that because I wanted to dive and get a better look at it. Then I began photographing underwater. It was exhausting owing to the large waves caused by the terrible weather, but it was enjoyable, especially if you touched it. Overall, it was exhausting but enjoyable.
According to the residents, even if the sharks migrate to another island, they always find a way to return. Their secret is that they feed it on a daily basis.
If you enjoy diving and are interested in whale sharks, you should add this location to your itinerary.
