Garden of the Gods. Colorado Springs

Hello friends,

I tried to post here before, but didn’t know how to add the link to pinemapple. I hope this time it will work.

I’ve been working through my photos from the past and found some from Colorado Springs. I really like beautiful nature there.

Whenever we visit we try to go to Garden of the Gods. It’s a unique place. It has some natural rock formations that is bright red or orange. According to the stories, it used to be a praying place for native Americans who used to live in this area. Now it’s a beautiful park with a visitor center and a gift shop. People can go there for a walk for free.

I took these photos with my old camera about 10 or 11 years ago, so quality is not the best, but you still can see beautiful scenery on the photos.

My kids also love going to this park. Sometimes we can see deer walking there casually. They are not afraid of people at all. I guess they got used to tourists.

I once went there with my husband at sunset time. We took our thermos with tea, found good spot and enjoyed the show.

This house is a bit different place, I don’t remember 100%, but I think it was Navigators’ old office, I don’t know if it’s still there.
