The Excitement of Visiting Cut Nyak Dhien Airport

Hello travel lovers. My trip today is too memorable to be a memory in the future. I have never been on this tour and it feels like a dream because I can see in detail where the plane lands. The day before I was here, I took the initiative to personally take some photos on the plane at the airport. The airport is far from the city and residential areas. Today the weather is warm, at this time our area rarely rains. It usually rains at the end of the year here. This sunny weather made me very happy to photograph subjects at the airport. This airport is Cut Nyak Dhien Nagan Raya Airport and it is located in Nagan Raya-Aceh.

I arrived at the airport at noon because I had to continue with a job that was not ready yet, so I'm a bit late arriving at the airport plane. When we arrived at the airport, it turned out that there were no scheduled flights today because this airport only handles domestic flights. So fly only a few times a week or not every day. This is a great opportunity for us because we got permission to enter the flying area. I did not come alone, but with some friends who are members of the flight path area. We were watched by the plane's airport staff until the photo session was over at that location. The heat was like burning our skin, but we were so excited because it was impossible to pass.

We were at the airport for one hour and twenty minutes. Then we did the shoot somewhere else, so we didn't spend a lot of time at the airport. Previously, Cut Nyak Dhien airport only had two flights a week, ie on Mondays and Wednesdays, but now the airport has changed its flight schedule six times a week. Cut Nyak Dhien airport is not too long because the planes here are only for inter-regional flights with a runway of around 25,984ft × 279ft so only domestic flights are available here. Around the airport there are oil palm plantations that are so extensive, even this area is specifically for oil palm plantations and there are people's houses as a place to live for people who work on these plantations.

When we arrived at the airport there was no flight activity and it was very quiet, luckily we were met by airport security agents. We had a little chat with airport security and they kept an eye on us until the photo shoot was over. I really appreciate the airport staff because they cared about us and were even very nice. According to airport security officials, flight schedules often change because if the number of passengers is insufficient, the flights will be delayed until the passengers are filled. Perhaps due to the lack of passengers, people here prefer to travel by land rather than by air.

While we are here, we are very satisfied and we can take photos with cameras from any direction, but unfortunately, we cannot make videos from above because the drones do not work in the airport area. Actually, before shooting a video with the drone, we had to get permission so that the drone would not be blocked by the airport security system. Actually, our main goal is to shoot videos from the air. Video recording with a drone was not possible, so we had to choose a shot from below with the camera. This is my trip today which is very nice and I still want to visit other places around here. This area has a very good tourist spot because this place is close to the sea, we can even see the sunset.
