There's nothing compared to the happiness of being a child. My childhood brings me the best memories. I became a good and also a disobedient child. But my adventures when I was a child is one of the best that I wanted to happen again if ever I could turn back time.
What I can do now is to get back to the happiest place that ever happened to my life. I'm very thankful that after 30 years I did return to my grandfathers place at Cahayagan Agusan Del Norte but my Grandpas house was already not there.
I was only 5 years old before but I cannot forget what this green surroundings and mountains made me so happy. I love roaming around here when I was a kid, and yet I did the same again to walk and roam to the best adventure place of my life.
I almost reach the Sky at the top of Mountain hills.I did see the real beauty of the world.The gift of heaven is the Green Mountains and Paradise.
In the other side of the mountain you will see the river from the top but we didnt get there because its far but if I have more time I would like to go to the river.
I revisit again and walk around to see the mountains and the vegetable farm of my Grandfather. I harvest some vegetables such as Moringa leaves.
We used to sell different kinds of vegetables before in the market fresh harvest from my Grandpas farm together with my Grandma. It took 1 hour to walk from the farm going to the highway to 2 hrs of travel of jeepney to Butuan City Market.
Yesterday we saw some vegetable plants such as Taro, Green sweet potato leaves, Lemon grass, Lanzones , Banana plant etc.
If you want to visit Cahayagan Agusan Del Norte you can take a bus from Cagayan de Oro.It's about 5 hrs to travel by bus then you need to transfer to jeepney going to Cahayagan for 2 hrs.
Transport fee by bus from Cagayan de Oro is 400 pesos that is already air conditioned and you need to provide a medical swab test result so that you are allowed to travel for long distance travel.
Its really so worth it when you get here because you can feel the fresh air on top of the mountain. Then there's fresh chicken in the backyard as chicken soup for dinner tonight.
As I keep exploring around it seems that I already seen the beauty of the other parts of the world. In the other side of the mountain you can see the river. It really feels like heaven seeing back again all of this amazing nature.I also found flowers when I was a kid I do not see much flowers before.
Aside from those beautiful nature you can also unwind your self from a long walk and relax here at Spring resort also located at Cahayagan. You just need to walk down for 1 hour to reach the cold spring resort.
The cold spring is as cold as iced water and it is not that fully developed yet because it not much commercial because its located in the heart of the forest trees. I do not like iced water pool, so I decided not to swim.I'm more fun of taking pictures of the views.
But if it is hot spring like at Camiguin there is a hot spring I would love to jump on the hot water rather than cold.
Our green forest is a paradise we must help to take care of it. Stop cutting of the trees to avoid climate change.It's better to live with the abundance of green nature than technology's. Imagine our life if without the Trees and the green forest ? Can we still have enough oxygen to breath ?
Before the technology came we live in a simple life and our food and resources came from the green forest nature.
What could we ask for more ? We have food such as plants and animals around and the beautiful nature.
