Macau is an special administrative region of China on the southern coast of the country. Is also well know for its ritsch cultural heritage, its gambling industrie and more. The history of Macau is at least 6,000 years old, the town was originally settled by Chinese fishermen and farmers. From Hong Kong, you can take a full-day ferry tour of Macau. It is located about 50 kilometers west of Hong Kong and it was a Portuguese colony until 1999

The ruins of St. Paul's in Macau represent the facade of the Mater Dei Church built in 1602-1640 and the ruins of St. Paul's College, which was built next to the church and destroyed by fire in 1835. The front of the ruins are 23 meters in cross-section and 25.5 meters high and are divided into five levels.
