Amazing trip to Jungfraujoch

A trip to Jungfraujoch "Top of Europe". The highest railroad station in Europe is 3454 meters above sea level. At the top of the Jungfraujoch, a high alpine wonder world of ice, snow and rock is waiting to be discovered.

On top you can see the highlight, a wonderful world in the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Swiss Alps.

We started from Grindelwald to Kleine Scheidegg by train. The distance by road between Grindelwald and Kleine Scheidegg is 12 km. Without discount, you pay for the trip from Kleine Scheidegg to the Jungfraujoch, is the most expensive, the normal ticket costs over 120 francs there and back trip.

The Jungfrau Railway runs part of its route through a tunnel which is also open in the winter months.

Possible travel: the trip with the rack railroad is an experience in itself and offers spectacular views, with the Bernese Railway from Grindelwald, up to the Kleine Scheidegg. Then connection to the Jungfrau Railway, travel time from Grindelwald 32 minutes.

From the viewing platforms a wonderful view of the Aletsch Glacier over 22 Km long and almost a kilometer thick,

or you can admire in the Ice Palace wonderful ice arts.
