One day at Bali when we had a day off and we didn’t play any music we went to a wonderful butterfly park.
Insects live here in separate terrariums, where there are the necessary conditions for their reproduction and growth.
Butterflies feed on nectar from special plants that grow under the dome and bloom all year round.
They are also fed with fruit. There are special sprayers in the park, which are located throughout the territory. They provide butterflies with comfortable conditions for growth and development.
Here is a very unusual butterfly Atacus Atlas or in another way it is called the Prince of Darkness.
This butterfly is considered the largest moth in the world. It has a curved edge of the front wing, which resembles the head of a snake in shape and color, and therefore in nature it scares away many animals that feed on insects. But the lifespan of this butterfly is only 5-7 days.
The territory of the park is vey beautiful. there is much greenery here and many exotic flowers.
Here you can also look at a mantis insect. It merges so much with plants that it is difficult to see it. But how unusual they are.
All insects in this park can be picked up and you may take photographs with them.
Of course, some of them are a little scary, and many female tourists scream and shout in horror, but these insects are not dangerous.
In the photo you see a butterfly on my T-shirt.
By the way, I couldn't wash the T-shirt after it. Butterflies leave stains that are not washed off by anything.
And not only alive insects are presented here. A big entomological collection is also impressive.
Some strange bugs:
Beautiful butterflies:
Terrible creatures:
Giant butterflies:
Again some colorful butterflies:
But I don't like dead insects, I prefer life! And how about you, my friends?
To be continued..
