La naturaleza es uno de los mayores regalos que tenemos para disfrutar, `por eso es importante conocer los lugares que tenemos a nuestra disposición.
Tengo la suerte de vivir en un estado que tiene mucha naturaleza que explorar, es un estado caluroso pero está al pie de una cordillera, y pasas a un clima fresco en cuestión de minutos.
Esta vez hice un maravilloso viaje a uno de los pueblos del Estado Barinas, Altamira de Cáceres, ubicado al pie de la montaña Barines. Fue fundada el 30 de junio de 1577 por el capitán español Juan Andrés Varela.
Se considera un sitio de valor histórico ya que fue el primer asentamiento de lo que hoy se conoce como la ciudad de Barinas.
Todavía se conservan las fachadas de la época, con sus tejados, ventanas, calles empedradas, su iglesia.
Muy cerca de la plaza, bajando unas escaleras de piedra comienza el recorrido, hasta encontrarnos con el río Santo Domingo.
Los habitantes de la zona llaman a este "Recorrido de las 6 Cascadas".
Se tarda unas 3 horas en llegar a la última cascada, pero se hace en unas 4 horas porque hay una parada en cada cascada.
Aunque el camino no es fácil, ver un paisaje tan exuberante te hace pasar por alto todos los esfuerzos del camino.
Las aguas son frías y cristalinas, y hay abundante vegetación que hace el recorrido más agradable, permitiendo respirar aire limpio y fresco.
Di las gracias a los árboles por tan excelente oxígeno.
Se empiezan a encontrar pequeñas cascadas, con deliciosos pozos para el disfrute de niños y adultos.
Se pueden apreciar las formaciones rocosas resultantes de la erosión causada por el río, dejando una hermosa vista.
A medida que avanzamos, las cascadas se hacen más grandes y hermosas. Para los amantes del agua es irresistible bañarse en ellas.
Y así llegamos a la última cascada de este recorrido, una hermosa e impresionante. Donde el reto por su altura de los visitantes es saltar, disfrutando de la adrenalina y de sus deliciosas aguas.
Apreciar, disfrutar, admirar es inevitable en estos entornos que despiertan esa conexión con nuestra querida madre tierra. La grandeza de las montañas y el fluir de los ríos, arroyos y cascadas, todo en perfecta armonía, nos recuerda que también somos parte de esa naturaleza, que no estamos separados y que podemos vivir en armonía, respetando y ampliando nuestra conciencia del SER.
Somos una gran familia, la especie humana. Este grupo de personas que organizan estas caminatas cuyo nombre es fiebruos extremos, tienen una hermosa misión, no solo nos llevan a conocer y apreciar los maravillosos entornos naturales de nuestra hermosa tierra, sino que nos permite conocer y compartir haciéndonos sentir que realmente somos una gran familia, hermanos, amigos de corazón.
Agradecida por esta experiencia, espero que disfrutes y comiences a recorrer esos lugares cercanos que te dan belleza y plenitud y que son el alimento del alma.

Nature is one of the greatest gifts we have to enjoy, `that is why it is important to know the places we have at our disposal.
I am fortunate to live in a state that has a lot of nature to explore, it is a hot state but it is at the foot of a mountain range, and you go to a cool climate in a matter of minutes.
This time I made a wonderful trip to one of the towns of Barinas State, Altamira de Caceres, located at the foot of the Barines mountain. It was founded on June 30, 1577 by the Spanish captain Juan Andres Varela.
It is considered a site of historical value since it was the first settlement of what is known today as the city of Barinas.
They still preserve the facades of the time, with their roofs, windows, cobblestone streets, its church.
Very close to the square, down some stone stairs begins the tour, until we meet the Santo Domingo River.
The inhabitants of the area call this "Tour of the 6 Waterfalls".
It takes about 3 hours to reach the last waterfall, but they are done in about 4 hours because there is a stop at each waterfall.
Although the road is not easy, seeing such lush scenery makes you overlook all the efforts of the road.
The waters are cold and crystalline, and there is abundant vegetation which makes the tour more pleasant, allowing you to breathe clean and fresh air.
I thanked the trees for such excellent oxygen.
You begin to find small waterfalls, with delightful wells for the enjoyment of children and adults.
You can appreciate the rock formations resulting from the erosion caused by the river, leaving a beautiful view.
As we advance, the waterfalls become bigger and more beautiful. For water lovers it is irresistible to swim in them.
And so we arrived at the last waterfall of this tour, a beautiful and impressive. Where the challenge for its height of visitors is to jump, enjoying the adrenaline and its delicious waters.

The grandeur of the mountains and the flow of rivers, streams and waterfalls, all in perfect harmony, reminding us that we are also part of that nature, that we are not separate and that we can live in harmony, respecting and expanding our awareness of the BEING.

This group of people who organize these walks whose name is the extreme fever, have a beautiful mission, not only take us to know and appreciate the wonderful natural environments of our beautiful land, but it allows us to know and share making us feel that we really are a big family, brothers, friends at heart.
