Technology is making prodigious and unpredictable advances, sodium-based batteries are being tested and there are many more proposals for new types of energy. I hope the use of electric vehicles is something that continues to grow for the good of our environment and ourselves.
There is also the proposal to emit energy from a tower and provide energy to vehicles that are within reach so that they are able to circulate without using up the battery. It was a proposal tested by Mr. Tesla many years ago. It would be a good idea to rescue it for the present.
