### ¿Cómo podemos cuidar el cabello largo? >### How can we take care of long hair? Desde hace mucho tiempo siempre quise tener el cabello largo cosa que nunca sucedía, primero soy de poco cabello y es muy finito, siempre tenía las puntas secas y abiertas. Una vez deje que me creciera pero debo confesar que lucía unas puntas muy maltratadas. Por el contrario mi mamá tiene abundante cabello y muy hidratado luce sano y siempre lo ha tenido largo. > For a long time I've always wanted to have long hair, which never happened. Desde hace un año me propuse a cuidarme y dejarme crecer el cabello aquí te comparto algunos tips que utilizo. > For the last year I've been determined to take care of myself and grow my hair out and here are some tips I use. 1 **Córtalo con frecuencia** Al cortarte el cabello con cierta frecuencia no conseguirás que el cabello salga más fuerte ni crezca más rápido. El problema es que cuando nos cortamos el cabello una vez al año lo más probable es que pierda brillo, las puntas se abran y esté más seco. Sin embargo, al cortarlo cada tres o cuatro meses permitirás que el cabello se encuentre más cuidado y evitarás que se parta. *Yo particularmente opte por cortarme las puntas yo misma, y lo hago mensualmente noto que se me maltrata muy poco eso hace que corte menos de un dedo de mi cabello y así garantizo que las puntas luzcan sanas.* Busque en Youtube varios tutoriales de como cortar cabello y me ha funcionado 😂😂💇🏽‍♀️ > 1 **Cut it frequently** > >Cutting your hair frequently will not make your hair stronger or grow faster. The problem is that when we cut our hair once a year it will most likely lose its shine, split ends and be drier. However, cutting it every three or four months will allow your hair to be more cared for and prevent it from splitting. > >*I particularly chose to cut the ends myself, and I do it every month and I notice that I'm being treated very little, so I cut less than a finger off my hair to ensure the ends look healthy.* > >I searched Youtube for several tutorials on how to cut hair and it worked for me 😂 😂 💇 💇 💇 2 **No lavarse el cabello a diario** Con lavarse el cabello cada dos o tres días sería suficiente, sobre todo si no realizas una actividad física intensa que te obligue a hacerlo a diario. El champú tiene el objetivo de acabar con la suciedad del cabello y del cuero cabelludo, pero también al mismo tiempo elimina aceites esenciales que el cabello requiere para lucir brillante y sano. *En mi caso soy de cabello seco, y al tener dos o tres días mi cabello luce brillante y mucho más dócil. Por lo general me lavo el cabello 1 vez a la semana, si tuve mucha actividad lo lavo dos veces por semana.* > 2 **Do not wash your hair daily** > >Washing your hair every two or three days would be enough, especially if you don't do intense physical activity that forces you to do it every day. The shampoo aims to remove dirt from the hair and scalp, but also removes essential oils that the hair needs to look shiny and healthy. > >*In my case I have dry hair and when I have two or three days my hair looks shiny and much more manageable. I usually wash my hair once a week, if I've been very active I wash it twice a week.* 3 **Enjuagar con agua fría** El agua caliente resulta muy perjudicial para el cabello. Sin embargo, por el bien del cabello deberías hacerlo con agua a baja temperatura. Ten en cuenta que ya soporta bastante calor con la plancha y secador, así que el agua caliente puede estropearlo más. Sólo necesitas enjuagarlo unos segundos, así que tampoco es para tanto el sacrificio. Conseguirás así que la cutícula se selle y esté más fuerte. > 3 **Rinse with cold water** > >Hot water is very harmful to hair. However, for the sake of your hair you should do it with low temperature water. Bear in mind that it can get pretty hot with a flat iron and blow-dryer, so hot water can damage it more. You only need to rinse it for a few seconds so it's not a big deal to sacrifice. You will get a stronger and more sealed cuticle. 4 **Peinarlo por las noches** Cepillarse el pelo mojado puede resultar muy perjudicial. Al intentar desenredarlo también lo estás dañando, partiéndolo mientras deshaces los nudos. Lo adecuado sería realizar esta operación de desenredo desde las puntas y desplazarte hacia arriba. También es importante que te peines antes de acostarte, ya que de esta manera ayudarás a mejorar la circulación en el cuerpo cabelludo, y contribuyendo al crecimiento del cabello. *Yo utilizo un cepillo o peine de cerdas separadas, y al desenredarlo lo hago con paciencia para no partirlo sobre todo mi cabello que es fino* > 4 **Comb it at night** > >Brushing wet hair can be very harmful. By trying to untangle it, you're also damaging it, breaking it up as you undo the knots. The best way to do this is to untangle the hair from the ends and move it upwards. > >It's also important to comb your hair before going to bed as this will help improve circulation to the scalp and help your hair grow. > > *I use a brush or a comb with separate bristles, and when I untangle it I do it with patience so I don't break it especially my hair which is fine.* 5 **Dieta adecuada** Para disfrutar de un cabello saludable también es importante comer bien y de forma equilibrada. Más que echarse distintos productos en la cabeza, habría que incorporar a nuestra dieta alimentos como las nueces, pescados, frijoles y granos enteros. Es importante también consumir proteína para conseguir un aspecto más fuerte y que crezca más rápido. *En mi caso cuando aplicó algún producto a base de aguacate sobre el cabello me cae mal, entonces lo que hago es que lo consumo en ensaladas* > 5 **Adequate diet** > >To enjoy healthy hair it is also important to eat well and in a balanced way. Rather than putting different products on your head, you should incorporate foods such as nuts, fish, beans and whole grains into your diet. It's also important to eat protein for a stronger and faster growing look. > > *In my case when I apply some avocado product on my hair I don't like it, so what I do is I eat it in salads.* _______ Una de las cosas que incómoda de tener el cabello largo es el calor que produce, en mi caso vivo en una ciudad donde la temperatura es elevada 😵 a mi no me molesta tanto ya que tengo poco cabello a diferencia de mi mamá que tiene abundante. > One of the things that is uncomfortable about having long hair is the heat that it produces.
