A touch of kindness
With an act of charity,
The world, chaos free:
Focusing on the needy
— Helping those of low esteem.
Written a few years ago, this Tanka poem holds true today as it did the day penned. A “Touch of Kindness” is what humanity needs. We need kindness with the world on the brink of collapse and the United States in a downward spiral. The next time you see a person down on their luck, reach out and show a little compassion. The single act will go a long way. And sometimes, it’s a matter of life and death.
