As such
I find a broken man
As I scan
Through hours
In tall towers
Of narcissistic fear
Never clear
Always jumbled
As he stumbled
Through days
And he says
I'll never fall
I'm much too tall
When I'm actually small
That man isn't me
I see
In that mirror
He isn't the hearer
Of words cold
Spoken by a world bold
And unrelenting
He's dissenting
He's a lie
An empty sigh
An image of scorn
Has yet to be born
On his face
In this race
We call life
I'm filled with strife
As he'll forever be
A figment of me
I reflect too much
As such
I don't know me.
