One more day

It has been said that if you poke a dog long enough it will revolt back but this seems to be a different ball game in our country right now as those higher than dogs have been poked over and over again yet there seem to be no fight back but silence. The loudest silence there is.

As the roads seem empty of cars and people confused for a way forward with a leader never chosen but forced to follow.

Are we in the age of illiteracy?

The people see yet no one speaks as though blind, of what use is the eyes. The people hear but no one pays hid as though the ear never existed. Maybe the pain doesn't cut deep enough, the flesh could still be robust and un-tempered with.
For the exposure of a secret that is not really a secret but treated as such.

Prayer they say without action is in vain but what can the voiceless do, we who are lame in many ways beyond the physical bearings we possess.

What can a man do in such a situation?

Maybe a little more patience - one more day and things will be different. One more day.
