Trust the duck
The city decided to create a lake park.
And the mayor recruited ideas from city officials regarding the lake park.
The lake park will basically have a fountain.
He wanted to find good ideas for what would make people like the park and visit it more.
The mayor decided to give the winner of the idea additional points in favor of prize money and promotion.
Various ideas came out. Two ideas came up in the final round.
The first was the idea of shooting laser beams of various colors at night.
The second is an idea for a giant duck sculpture proposed by James, who works in the Secretariat.
After the first idea proposer's presentation
James took the podium as the second presenter to explain the idea.
"My idea is to float a big duck in the lake park."
"If you float a duck several times bigger than a human, it will be the mascot of the lake park."
"Every visitor will also take a picture with a big duck in the background."
"It will stand out and give people healing."
Finally, he shouted at the mayor and the staff.
"I trust the duck. It will be the Mascot of Lake Park in our city and bring a lot of people to come."
The mayor and staff began voting and James' idea of installing a large duck sculpture was adopted.
Since the installation of the giant duck, tens of thousands, even hundreds of thousands, of people have visited Lake Park every year, taking pictures with the giant duck as a backdrop.
and many people have gone home feeling healed by the duck.
