After a long morning of meetings Chandra was becoming mighty peckish. She appeared to be day dreaming as the last client before lunch has been droning on about requirements for the latest project. Each time she opened her mouth Chandra was thinking about food.
The O sound brought in memories of sweet, ripe oranges fresh off the vine. The A sound formed a huge imaginary apple pie sitting on the desk right in front of her. The client started to look like a big piece of licorice sitting there talking about the project.
She was paying attention or at least she thought she was until the client asked her if she had anything to add to the conversation. Without hesitation Chandra asked for a side order of delicious golden fries.
The client look at her playfully and mentioned something about lunch. Chandra was caught and apologized with a smirk as the client began to laugh. Her stomach can almost be heard throughout the office.
Time for lunch.
