Why are these taxes proving so difficult and complicated???!?!

Ashley once again is at her computer trying to fill out the forms as she does each year and each year nothing goes as planned. She has all her paperwork nicely sorted on her desk and this software always seems to trip her up.

They ask questions at certain points that makes no sense.

They keep asking specific details that confuse and you must read very critically. This becomes harder and harder as the time passes. In box 12, enter the value of slip 17 entry 12 line 1. Who writes this stuff?

At times she wants to take all this paperwork, put it in an envelope and mail it off to the tax people. Let them handle it all. Perhaps she might consider a service that does this for her too. Either way she's stressed.

At least she was able to input her name and address without any complications. As she progresses through the process, the questions become more and more obtuse. Visibly frustrated Ashley takes a break and walks over to her window. She gazes outside at the cityscape while sipping on the last remnants of her coffee.

Taxes, what a pain in the butt!

The rules are simple. Write for five minutes uninterrupted. If you're interested you can read all the details, I look forward to reading what you come up with in a simple 5 minutes. Have fun!
