Saludos cordiales a todos los lectores de esta gran comunidad. Para el día de hoy, aprovechando una de la actividades propuestas por @freewritehouse, les traigo un poema inspirado en mi pequeña hija.
Warm greetings to all the readers of this great community. For today, taking advantage of one of the activities proposed by @freewritehouse, I bring you a poem inspired by my little daughter.

Cuando Apareciste
Un día como cualquiera,
me enteré de tu llegada
y aunque ya te quisiera,
no fue hasta que te tocara
que sentí como te alcanzaba.
La expresión de tu fragilidad,
envuelta y presentada con amabilidad,
en toda tu candidez,
reflejaba la inocencia tu ser
y aunque fuera difícil de creer,
entre mis brazos te podía sostener…
Mientras que en tu mirada me podía perder,
separándome del ahora,
por todos los caminos que podía recorrer,
detrás de esas dos puertas marrones.
No dormías mucho tiempo
y comías lento,
pero al estar atento,
se conseguí disfrutar el momento…
y no ha pasado mucho desde entonces,
pero has crecido a pasos veloces.
Siempre viendo,
siempre aprendiendo
y siempre queriendo,
es como vas creciendo,
intentándolo te veo
y acompañándote te sigo,
pues tú mi pequeña,
eres la primavera que,
al aparecer en nuestra vida,
dejó sin espacio al infortunio frío,
desbordando tanta ternura,
que llenas de amor y esperanzas,
todo lo que en tu entorno gira.
No hay felicidad diaria más grande,
que la producida por tu sonrisa,
la cual siempre se marca en mi memoria
y en mi corazón aterriza…
Por eso serás por siempre,
mi pequeña Hilén,
y te acompañaré por siempre,
más allá de mi física existencia.

When You Appeared
One day like any other,
I heard of your arrival
and although I already loved you,
it wasn't until I touched you
that I felt it reach out to you.
The expression of your fragility,
wrapped and presented with kindness,
in all your candor,
reflected the innocence of your being
and though it was hard to believe,
I could hold you in my arms...
While in your gaze I could lose myself,
separating me from the now,
by all the paths I could travel,
behind those two brown doors.
You didn't sleep long
and you ate slowly,
but by being attentive,
you got to enjoy the moment...
and not much has happened since then,
but you've grown by leaps and bounds.
Always watching,
always learning
and always wanting,
that's how you're growing,
I see you trying
and accompanying you I follow you,
because you, my little one,
you are the spring that,
by appearing in our life,
left cold misfortune with no room,
overflowing so much tenderness,
that you fill with love and hopes,
everything that revolves around you.
There is no greater daily happiness
than that produced by your smile,
which is always marked in my memory
and in my heart lands...
That's why you will be forever,
my little Hilén,
and I will accompany you forever,
beyond my physical existence.
