As a younger girl, Lily had constantly been involved by means of the surgical operation window of the sanatorium close to her home. She would frequently stand backyard and watch the physicians and nurses scurrying about, their faces masked and their palms gloved. She dreamed of one day turning into a healthcare professional herself and standing on the different facet of that window.

Years later, Lily did come to be a general practitioner and she determined herself standing in the front of that very equal window, however this time, she was once the one preserving the scalpel. As she peered thru the glass, she noticed a younger lady staring again at her with the identical awe and marvel she had felt as a child.
