Looking for souls! Hungry for innocent souls. The queen mother sends out ghosts into the city. Unseen during the day and a shadow at night. The ritual was to make witches stonger than vampires.
After a lot of incantations and sacrifice, the souls of the dead were awaken and only made to obey only the queen mother. “together, we will head an undeafeated empire of witches, ” the Queen mother said as all in the congregation screamed in agreement.
The dead souls set out wandering in the town looking for souls to capture and steal for the Queen mother. People were disappearing in the town and dead bodies found on lonely streets.
As this continued several days, people started to notice figures at night as people are raised in the air and their life is being taken. The town sheriff summoned all the soldiers together with the details and plans on how to capture these unseen shadows that lurks in the night.
They were equipped with weapons, guns, gunpowder, fire crackers and every information and skill necessary for the mission. They were 28 trained men in total divided in four groups and a leader that is seven per group including the sheriff
Each night, deaths were recorded. The ghost had blue eyes and made a groaning sound, and no man could see its legs anywhere. It was as dark as ebony and moved like shadows. The terror of its acts and the numerous deaths caught the whole town and the neighboring towns as well.
Citizens of the city started fleeing the town until there were no souls left to capture. The sheriff made sure everyone fled to safety and then returened to figure where the shadows returned after capturing sluld. As the number of the sould needed were not enough for the ritual.
The remaining shadowds (once that haven't captured the number of souls needed from it or haven't been killed) went back to the Queen mother and passing through ber, destroyed her, leaving her powerless to control any longer.
