Will they find the note? My respiration and pulse are undetectable. A congenital curse stole my father's life. And now mine? Please, the note, in my pocket. Please, please! Not the coffin. I'm asleep, not dead. The note....wait...
I know this is probably better for Halloween :)) but it is the idea that came to mind with the prompt, 'asleep'. Hope the story is not too grim for such a nice contest.
