Mario is a man from the city who went to visit his uncle on Margarita Island, his uncle is a fisherman just like his cousins. Mario is a Public Accountant, he lives in Caracas and works in a transnational food company, on more than one occasion, he told his uncle and cousins that he would help them to study and get out of the fishing area, but they had always refused.
Mario had become ill, he had had problems with tension and suffered from a lot of stress, so the doctor had ordered him to take a couple of weeks off and stay away from work. Mario had talked to his mother and he is talking to his brother and he and his cousins invited him to the house in Margarita to spend a different time.
When Mario arrived on the island, he saw his uncle repairing a huge fishing net, along with his cousins, when he saw what they were doing, Mario approached and his relatives invited him to participate, while they fixed the line, Mario and his relatives were talking, Mario was talking about work, while his relatives were talking about fishing, fish and asking about the family.
At night, Mario thought about going to bed; however, his cousins and his uncle invited him to go fishing with them, at night, they got into three crags, and began to throw the net between the crags, when the dawn was coming, the fishermen and Mario began to collect the fish from the nets. That kind of experiences took Mario out of his stress, out of his problems and he started enjoying fishing.
Now that Mario is in town, whenever there are problems at work, he remembers the conversation with his cousins and uncle, when they were fixing the net and when they were fishing. Now Mario learned to meditate and live a spiritual life, he was no longer bitter, he did not feel bad, and now he understood, why Jesus, told Peter, that now they would be fishers of men. And he realized how a net and fishing had changed his life.

5 Minutos de Escritura Libre: El Pescador. Cuento Corto Original..

Mario es un hombre de ciudad que fue a visitar a su tío en la Isla de Margarita, su tío es un pescador al igual que sus primos. Mario es un Contador Público, él vive en Caracas y trabaja en una empresa transnacional de alimentos, en más de una ocasión, le dijo a su tío y a sus primos que les ayudaría para que estudiasen y salieran del área de la pesca, pero ellos se habían negado desde siempre.
Mario se había enfermado, había tenido problemas con la tensión y sufría de mucho estrés, por lo que el médico le había ordenado tomar un par de semanas y alejarse del trabajo. Mario había hablado con su madre y está habló con su hermano y este y sus primos lo invitaron a la casa en Margarita a pasar un tiempo diferente.
Cuando Mario llegó a la isla, vio a su tío reparando una red de pesca enorme, junto con sus primos, al ver lo que estaban haciendo, Mario se acercó y sus familiares le invitaron a participar, mientras arreglaban la raya, Mario y sus familiares conversaban, Mario hablaba del trabajo, mientras sus familiares hablaban de la pesca, los peces y preguntaban por la familia.
En la noche, Mario pensó en acostarse; sin embargo, sus primos y su tío, lo invitaron a ir con ellos de pesca, en la noche, se metieron en tres peñeros, y comenzaron a lanzar la red entre los peñeros, cuando estaba llegando la madrugada, los pescadores y Mario empezaron a recoger los peces de las redes. Ese tipo de experiencias, le sacó a Mario de su estrés, de sus problemas y empezó a disfrutar de la pesca.
Ahora que Mario está en la ciudad, cada vez que hay problemas en el trabajo, se recuerda de la conversación con sus primos y tío, de cuando arreglaban la red y de cuando pescaban. Ahora Mario aprendió a meditar y hacer vida espiritual, ya no se amargaba, no se sentía mal, y ahora entendía, el porqué Jesús, le dijo a Pedro, que ahora serían pescadores de hombres. Y se dio cuenta como una red y la pesca le habían cambiado la vida.
