This is my attempt at the short story fiction using the freewrite prompt.
Riya was bright student but was toned down at family. People in family wanted her to be just another pillar at family. Her wishes, her life and the choices never mattered. So she decided to ace in the exams. And so she worked really hard for the exam which would get him in the IT job. And turns out the exams were good and she was close to her achievement.

At the time of the results her family was not interested but she was so desperate to prove the family wrong. And turns out the result was in her favour. Her next goal was the IT job. Parents were against this but grandma who used to be very conservative, suddenly said.
"Her achievements matter. She worked hard for it. Her right must not be denied".
