I thought it was never going to happen, I got roses on Valentine's Day and they were delivered to me. I have never had roses or any other flower delivered to me.
The only problem is, I do not know who sent them. They came by DoorDash. They were in a plastic grocery bag and a receipt inside from Winn Dixie dated today and the price was 26.74. I have never used DoorDash so I do not know if they go to a grocery store and pick up what you want. People usually order flowers from a florist. It is a puzzle.
I think somewhere a man is swearing to his woman that he ordered her roses and they were to be delivered to her, but they came to me.
My husband is not the romantic sort so I have never expected a gift on Valentine's Day or any other day. I usually buy myself something for my birthday and tell him it is from him. I knew they did not come from him.
I felt bad for the poor DoorDash guy, we have been having trouble with friends of our kids coming here, we do not want them here, our kids are in their 40s and both are on drugs. So when my husband looked out his window and saw this guy standing there, he let both dogs out and ran out the door yelling "Can't you read the no trespassing signs", but he was too late, the guy threw the roses over the gate and was running to his car, my husband had to yell for him to stop. I could hear him yelling DoorDash, I am with DoorDash.
