Emmanuelle is a young girl who came to stay during her summer holidays with her grandmother. Everywhere her grandmother goes, she never leaves without her little pen knife. This act was so fascinating to her that she had to ask her grandma.
"Mama, you go around with this knife on your waist all the time, aren't we safe"? She asked curiously.
She let out a laugh and called her Ella in short "this is called a pen knife, it is important to always have it in case you need something while in adventure or an obstacle".
Holidays were over and she was ready to go back home, her grandma gifted her the pen knife which after hesitating for a while, finally got it. She forgot about it in her bag and hardly move around with it like her grandma does.

One day, she decided to go on an adventure. There was a wood which her friends have visited and have been telling her about. After a long walk in the woods, she lost track of the exit and how to make her way out. She began searching for her phone only to realize she was charging it at home and had forgotten to pick it up with her.
As she searched, she found out her pen knife was in the bag. That was the bag she dropped it since her grandma gifted it to her. She brought it out excitedly, and used the pen knife as a friend. She was able to use it to sharpen sticks which she gathered for catching fishes, set fire for warn up, and bark for bandages.
After she was able to get back home, she acknowledged that she went on a scary adventure but was grateful she had her pen knife with her which added more meaning to her adventure. She was happy that her grandma gave it to her.
