The Veterans of the Confederation gathered to celebrate the invasion of Free Space. They didn't care if the occupation of that sector of space was a failure.
Neither did anyone who celebrated the survivors.
It was a war hard fought on both sides, no one could have foreseen the outcome.
For this one, I decided to try and write this from the perspective of someone in the novel I'm writing here on Hive. Which takes place after a large-scale conflict and attempted occupation of Free Space. Which is a loose coalition of planets.
