The second hand passed the 12 o'clock mark and Sarah cast her eyes at the stage with a heavy sensation of disappointment. Tomorrow, her chance would again come to nothing just as it has done today. A silent tear escaped from her eye, and she spoke in a low voice, "This will never going to happen on my watch."
Just at that moment there climaxed the voice from behind , "Why not?
To the right, Sarah noticed her closest buddy holding on to them.
"Actually, I almost forgot to mention that," her friend said with a grin, "now it's your turn to be the star of the show."
