It was a hair style my friend Rose took her time to make herself, like she did the braids herself. I always admire her skills and the ability to practice it perfectly on herself.
She showed me the braids when she finished it, it was so beautiful looking like a hair done by a professional.
After many admirations, we decided to beautify it more by adding hair bows to it.
We carefully attached it to her hair, and it was stunning damn.
We got to school that day and everybody in the department admired it a lot, they could awe whenever we mention her being the hair stylist. It surprised them on how neat and amazing the hair style looks, we could proudly smile to ourselves.
On getting to our supervisor office, immediately she saw the hair.
She shouted saying it looks like an "ọgbanje" person hair style (ọgbanje - meaning evil spirit or children who come and go(that doesn't live long) or stubborn child/person).
We were just surprised, in our mind "what is wrong with this woman?".
We didn't say much, we just angrily nodded to every word she said as a superior and left.
"Are you going to remove the hair bow?" I asked Rose.
"Hell no!!" she replied.
I couldn't help but laugh, after she agreed to what our supervisor said.
