Peggy checked her phone as soon as she woke up from sleep, no calls no messages.
That was unlike Jimmy who always call her early in the morning. The regular call from Jimmy her fiance was her known alarm.
She checked the time,it was pass 8am, she jumped from her bed. She couldn't believe she slept for so long without realizing it.
She rushed to her kitchen washed her face and started icing the cake she is supposed to deliver by 9am.
She hoped to finish on time, if not her customer won't trust her again.
As she was icing the cake, the thought of Jimmy not calling her distracted her.
"no, not now" she waved the thought and continued with what she was doing.
She was lucky to finish on time, she rushed to the venue and deliver the cake.
She entered a cap coming back home because she didn't get the time to shower before going to deliver the cake.
Something in her told her to visit Jimmy's and check up on him.
"Not like this" she said in confusion.
"No let's go now before is late"
She changed her direction to Jimmy's house.
When she got there, everywhere was quiet.
"I told you he is not a home" her conscience said.
She knocked and knocked before someone unlocked the door without opening it.
She opened it and was shocked to see Jimmy shivering.
"What!!??"
"what's wrong my love" she asked.
She saw that Jimmy had no strength to answer, she rushed outside called a cap.
Helped Jimmy to enter the cap and they rushed to the hospital.
