It has been four days Lena came to the hospital to look after her mother. She was in school when she got a call from the hospital, informing her of her mother being in a critical condition and was rushed to the hospital.
She rushed down to the hospital without thinking twice, when she got there her mother was surrounded by doctors. She had to stay in the waiting room.
After all the check up, the doctor assured her that her mother will be fine. She was happy to hear it until when she stayed for two days without any improvement.
In the consultation room with the doctor was when the doctor told her that her mother's liver is damaged. They gave her sedatives drugs but they will have to perform surgery in few days.
Lena was sad about the news, her mother was a strong woman to be going through all these.
She looked at her lying on the bed, she cried remembering when her mother was strong going around the house doing activities.
She never saw any sign of her not being healthy.
She wished they were in the blue zones, this could not have happened.
She feared loosing her mother and prayed for God to keep her alive.
