Mrs Lidia have been suffering sleeping in a licking house. The only period she enjoyed the house and sleep well at night is doing dry season. This period her joy is always unmeasurable. When others pray for rain to fall so they can start planting season. She wished for the rain as well but her only fear was her house. Once it starts raining she will turn to vigilante especially in the night.
She will be moving her little things from one end to another.
Her only son went to the city to look for a job.
She only have him in the world since her husband left her.
For four years now,Mrs Lidia haven't heard from her son.
She hoped and prayed for him to be safe and alive no matter how hard and rough life is on them.
One day after it rained in the night, Mrs Lidia was trying to sleep since she didn't get to sleep at night.
A gentle tap on her shoulder woke her up, she jacked to her feet in fear maybe there is another rain.
She looked up and saw the fresh handsome face smiling at her.
It was her Son Danny, she embraced him happily.
Danny told her to dress up pack few of her important things that they were going to somewhere.
Mrs Lidia was confused "going where" she asked.
"you will see when we get there" was all Danny said still smiling.
Mrs Lidia did as she is told and followed Danny.
She was so surprised to see a beautiful shining car packed in front of her house, and it belonged to her son Danny.
They got to a luxury house and stopped, Danny helped her to come down from the car, carried her belongings and entered the house beckoning Mrs Lidia to come inside.
" This is our new home mum" Danny said.
Mrs Lidia was very excited all her sorrows and sleepless night are over.
