Ear Wax / Freewrite's Prompt by @mariannewest

Have you seen those videos of ENT specialists taking out huge chunk of ear wax? I stumbled across those videos when I was searching on tips how to clean baby's ears. Those videos was a yes-yes-no-no kind of videos, like there were 'ewwwsss' yet you wanted to watch somemore because you felt somehow enlightened when you saw the ear wax successfully being taken out? Irony. How could those dirt accumulated there? My husband could only tell me to give thanks.

I grew up having no problem to clean my ears. I didn't have extra ear wax, just a normal amount, and the usage of cotton bud was sufficient. How easy to maintain the ears depend on either you have 'wet' wax or 'dry' wax. I don't even know how to say it in English so this is direct translate from my language. Wet or dry wax. I have wet one, so just slowly put in cotton bud to turn it around, tada, clean! But my husband and both sons have the dry type. You can't put in the cotton bud or else the dirt goes into deeper tunnel, making it harder to reach. So you need to use some ear-digger. Haha.

This one!

Of course it is a big NO for ENT specialist to see us parents out something like this into the ears to take out the dirt. But I had been using it and it is easy to use, with flashlight to see the inside of the ears.

Are you familiar with this tool?
